£15k Cocaine Haul Seized by Cannock Police

Cannock Police have seized cocaine, believed to have a value of around £15,000, from a house in Cannock.

Police carried out the warrant on a property in Gaelic Road under the Misuse of Drugs Act, and arrested a 20-year old woman for possession with intent to supply a Class A Drug.  She has been bailed pending further enquiries until a date in November.

Chief Inspector Carl Ratcliffe, Cannock LPT Commander, said:

The raid was carried out as part of Operation Nemesis – Staffordshire Police’s crackdown on drug dealers.

Drug production is a very serious offence which impacts negatively on our communities and we will do everything in our power to bring those involved to justice.

We encourage local people to continue to help us defeat drug dealers in their areas by ringing Staffordshire Police with any information on 101. Alternatively they can contact independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
